Our History

2000

Founding of Alibem in Porto Alegre, RS.

2001

Acquisition of the meat processing plant and start of Alibem's operations in Santo Ângelo, RS.

2004

Acquisition of the industrial complex in Santa Rosa, RS, expanding Alibem's capacity.

2006

Acquisition of Agra in Rondonópolis, Mato Grosso.

2008

Start of the vertical integration process for Alibem’s pork production with the acquisition of the farm in Ibirubá, RS, strengthening the structure of the “farm-to-table” supply chain.

2010

Acquisition of the distribution center in Nova Santa Rita, RS.

2014

Transformation of Alibem into a joint-stock company (S.A.) and creation of the Board of Directors, strengthening the governance and strategic management structure.

2015

Creation of Carlos Lee Participações, consolidating the companies.

2018

Founding of Maxbem, Alibem’s first CRA issuance, and creation of the Strategic Planning Committee.

2020

Alibem is named Brazil's best agribusiness company by Valor Econômico.

2022

Acquisition of the Estação (RS) unit, accelerating the focus on the production of Alibem processed products.

2023

Development of the Sustainable Management Policy.

Publication of the 1st Sustainability Report.

Inauguration of the Maxbem honey processing plant in Porto Mauá, RS.
